Holly Springs, North Carolina transitioned to BSI Online in August of 2018. Before switching to BSI, Holly Springs was utilizing software and keeping up with the administrative tasks of a backflow program like sending letters and inputting test data.
Since the switch, we have made tremendous progress adding new/unknown devices, more than doubled their total inventory from when they launched with us. Check out the interview with Kristi Moore from Holly Springs below:
What method were you using to track your backflow records before BSI Online?
Prior to switching to BSI, we were using XC2 for our backflow tracking.
What is your favorite feature on the current version of the BSI program?
Personally, my favorite feature is the “Help Desk”. I like being able to see what has transpired over a customer’s account and add my own notes or instructions. Allowing for hassle free use of the system.
How has partnering with BSI Online improved your day to day job duties?
BSI offers a much more ease of use tool, which allow us to keep efficient and up to date records for all of our customers. Having testers submit directly to BSI, has eliminated us keeping track of test submissions as well. In addition, they also send our letters for us which has taken another task off of us.
Would you recommend BSI Online to other municipalities or water purveyor?
I would absolutely recommend BSI to others and have already done so!
How has your experience been with the BSI staff?
My experience with BSI has been exceptionally stellar, I have yet to have an issue that they have not assisted me with, they have been there for me at a drop of a hat and do it with a smile. Onboarding an entire municipality is no easy feat and they have been with me every step of the way without fault. I speak to BSI staff more than my own family, and that is exactly what they are, they take care of us.
