Our Sales Team had a hole-in-one time hosting BSI Clients at a golf ‘par-tee’! BSI staff and partners were able to network and work on their swing!

Sarah’s Circle Recap
CBI recently formed a team to help raise money for an incredible charity, Sarah’s Circle! We came together on a brisk winter day on February 26th to participate in the Annual Winter Walk to walk “a mile in her shoes” to end homelessness for women! We raised $4,173, excellent work, team!
BSI Sales Gives Back to Ronald McDonald House
In early February, the BSI Sales Team packaged snack and toiletry packs for the Ronald McDonald House while they were gathered in Chicago. It was so special to have our Sales Team all together while also benefitting a great cause.
BSI Green Sustainable Mailing Materials
BSI is striving to reduce our environmental footprint even further this year by committing to utilizing all sustainable packaging and mailing materials, making BSI go even more green! By using these recycled materials, we are reducing the amount of waste in landfills and preventing pollution by limiting our need to collect raw materials. As you know, our online, cloud-based backflow data management solution already reduces the amount of paper used to manage a backflow program. As we are rapidly growing and expanding the BSI/CBI family, Marketing thought it would be beneficial to have an org chart for our team to refer to if there are any questions regarding the structure and make-up of departments, or just to familiarize yourself with other BSI/CBI employees since we are mostly virtual!
New Hires and Promotions
We are excited to extend a warm welcome to four new employees; Rebecca Tatooles and Abby Caruso are two new BSI Account Managers, CBI’s new Accounting Clerk, Laura Nava and our newest Data Entry Specialist, Courtney Deutscher ! We are rapidly growing and so excited to have these four join our team! Additionally, Vanessa Harding was promoted to Account Manager Supervisor! Congrats Vanessa on all your hard work, very well deserved. Lastly- Data Entry was moved over to this department in November.

IT Updates
BSI, Boldness, Support, and Innovation at our very core, will be kicking off a program that will see our ability to deliver innovative new products and services increase significantly so we can win increased new business, retain our valued customers, and create more opportunities for all of us in the BSI and CBI family!
Under the leadership of Melissa and Michelle, BSI will be working with Highland Solutions, a digital product and innovation company in Chicago, to provide us with additional IT leadership & staff, tools, processes, and technical know-how to accelerate our delivery of new features in BSI Online, create technical efficiencies, and strengthen our ability to win new business. Over the next several months, the Highland team will be primarily working with IT, Account Management and Sales. Some staff from additional departments may be requested.
It is important to note that this is a partnership with Highland, assisting and guiding us for future success and not simply taking over or eliminating our IT department. Our internal IT staff are critical to what we do and provide on a daily basis.

Sales Updates
BSI had its first Sales week. With many reps being out of state/newer to BSI and we have been virtual, this was the first opportunity to be together in person. The week consisted of training, many laughs, very few Zoho tasks getting done, and fun outings like the Bulls game and golf simulator!
Marketing Updates
We have seen an increase in reviews for both companies on Google and Yelp. This stems back to every employee and the service they provide. Thank you all for helping grow our online presence for BSI/CBI! Make sure you are following both companies!
Backflow Babies
With new bundles of joy making their arrival, we have two new backflow babies to share! Huge congratulations to Alyssa Niven on the arrival of Hazel Grace on January 24th, and to Chrissy Bloom on the arrival of Carter Michael on February 13th!
