What method were you using to track your backflow records before BSI Online?

My predecessor set up our City account with BSI back in 2012 and it has been a game changer for our section. Before BSI, our department was very paper heavy with some usage of the Linko system. During the summer, busy months a temporary employee was hired to help keep up with all the letters and test reports. The inspectors were also hand delivering letters to businesses on top of mailing them.

What is your favorite feature on the current version of the BSI program?

I like being able to switch to 3.0 version and make changes. It has been nice to be able to make small changes like deadline extensions or updating the business name.

How has partnering with BSI Online improved your day to day job duties?

They take a lot of the administrative load off my plate! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate BSI sending out letters on our behalf and helping out with testers/customers.

Would you recommend BSI Online to other municipalities or water purveyors?

Wonderful 😊. Everyone I work with at BSI is very courteous and helpful. Christine and I have chatted about challenging testers, and the customer service crew is always speedy in their responses. I know they have a lot on their plates, and I always appreciate that they are willing to talk to testers and customers on my behalf when I’m juggling multiple jobs. Thank you so much!!
