What method were you using to track your backflow records before BSI Online?
Until signing up with BSI in 2016, device information and tracking was taken care of by our Public Works Department and notices were sent out via Utility Billing.
What is your favorite feature on the current version of the BSI program?
All of it! I am new to Backflow, BSI, and Enforcement. BSI has been instrumental in assisting me with the knowledge and information I need to be able to assist testers and owners in achieving compliancy. This in turn guaranties protection against unhealthy conditions.
Have you used BSI for additional services? (FOG, surveys, remediation, etc.)
As I mentioned I am new to the game. I am concentrating on City Devices, Commercial Devices, and Residential Health Hazzard Devices, such as on-site sewer facilities. Once I have these under control, I will take full advantage of the rest of what BSI has to offer.
How has partnering with BSI Online improved your day to day job duties?
It saves me a lot of time receiving the Non-Compliant and Failed Device reports. I am able to immediately notify owners and testers to comply.
Would you recommend BSI Online to other municipalities or water purveyors?
Without a doubt!
