What method were you using to track your backflow records before BSI Online?
Before becoming a customer of BSI, the city of Fresno had its in-house computer program that would track their backflow records. Thanks to BSI’s cloud-based solution, the city of Fresno is now able to seamlessly track and manage all their backflow data in one easy-to-navigate location.
What is your favorite feature of the current version of the BSI program?
BSI Online offers many great features and additions for water purveyors and testers to utilize, ensuring that our program helps yours run smoother. The City of Fresno stated that their favorite feature of the BSI program is the Help Desk feature. The Help Desk enables users to find everything quickly and easily. The Help Desk has different categories including; an organization name, property address, and name, property CCN, and device number, to help refine your search for the device or property you are looking for.
Have you used BSI for additional services? (FOG, surveys, remediation, etc.)
The City of Fresno has not used any of our additional services yet, being a great example of the value alone in our cloud-based solution without any of the other great services we have to offer. BSI Online can be a great fit for your backflow program regardless of the level of service you might need. BSI’s additional services include cross-connection surveys, cross-connection inspections, and the FOG management program.
How has partnering with BSI Online improved your day-to-day job duties?
The city of Fresno only has one employee who is in charge of managing the paperwork for their backflow program. Utilizing BSI Online allows the City of Fresno a more efficient and effective way to manage its program. This is in part thanks to BSI Online’s cloud-based solution, which offers them a solution for properly managing all their backflow devices.
