What Method were you using to track your backflow records before BSI Online?
“We were using an access database system and EVMWD Backflow Department to print test notices and mail to customers monthly. Once a tester performed the test, they would mail the test report to us, and staff would enter results into the access data system.”
What is your favorite feature on the current version of the BSI program?
“The whole BSI Online program is my favorite with so many features that make daily operation possible for running a Cross-Connection Department. One of my favorites is the help desk, here you can go into a certain CCN (Customer Certification Number) and edit customer information or change due dates, update location codes, and meter updates. Another one of my favorites is the comments section, where comments can be shared with BSI Online and EVMWD staff.”
